The fact  that you are browsing our website suggests that you are either contemplating to come to join us as a student or simply wish to find out more about our staff and research activities,  or both. In the faculty, we value and inculcate critical thinking in our teaching and learning activities to ensure that the quality of our graduates will measure up to international standards.

We also strive to make sure that teaching and learning is complimented by research that is current, relevant and of high quality. In this way we hope to be able to keep our students well informed about critical developments and get them to engage in intellectual debates. Our staffs are also among the most committed and enthusiastic in the university.

As a faculty, we pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching. We were the first Faculty of Social Sciences in the country to be audited by the Department of Higher Education.  Admissions to the faculty are made through the Universities Central Unit or Unit Pusat Universiti-Universiti  (UPU).
